This Chambolle-Musigny Les Feusselottes 1er Cru 2020 is a great red wine from the Côte de Nuits in Burgundy from the Domaine de La Pousse d'Or, from a plot of 0.42 hectares facing south-east on shallow and very stony clay-limestone soils. The term Feusselottes means "small holes, small cavities". 2/3 of the vines were over 90 years old in 2020.

It offers a superb nose of red fruits and wild strawberries. On the palate, the very fine texture is of great elegance, a sign of the best wines of Chambolle-Musigny. This long-ageing wine can still be kept in the cellar until around 2045.

The vines are grown without pesticides or insecticides, and the only input, manure, is of natural origin. The soil is worked, without weed killer, to maintain aeration and the suppleness of the soil. It will be the perfect accompaniment to a duck breast with mushrooms, a roasted partridge with bacon or a hare à la royale.
