The Domaine de La Pousse d'Or extends over 17 hectares of vines, on mythical plots of Volnay, Chambolle-Musigny, Corton, Pommard, Puligny-Montrachet, Morey-Saint-Denis and Santenay, with 5 grands crus and 11 premiers crus including 3 monopolies, in the Côte de Beaune and the Côte de Nuits.
All the work in the vines is carried out biodynamically. The winemaking is carried out using slow and natural methods. The wines are aged in oak barrels for up to 18 months.
Owned by the Dukes of Burgundy in 1477, the foundations of the current estate date from the 16th century with some buildings built in the 17th century during the reign of Louis XIV. The history of the estate is precise from the revolution of 1789.
Closer to home, in 1997, Patrick Landanger took over the management of the Domaine de La Pousse d'Or and over the course of 20 years he made considerable investments in the vines and cellar. He was joined in 2013 by his son Benoît who took over the management of the Domaine in 2018.
