This wine comes from the vines of Domaine Chandon de Briailles which is located on the Côte de Beaune of the famous Burgundy vineyard. This 2012 vintage is marked by elegance and indulgence that particularly highlight the mosaic of Burgundian terroirs. Here, the terroir expresses itself with strength but the wine remains elegant although powerful.
Nice feeling of opulence and roundness, with a very persistent finish and framed by a fine but very present tannic structure. It can be found in the undergrowth from its earliest youth. With age, it moves towards wilder flavors.
Owned by the same family since 1834, the Chandon de Briailles estate now belongs to the Count and Countess Aymard-Claude de Nicolay. Great wines for ageing, a lot of freshness and an entirely biodynamic culture; This is what best characterises this great vineyard.
