This Corton Clos du Roi Grand Cru 2019 is a great red wine from Burgundy from Domaine Louis Jadot. The vineyard is east-facing and the vines are over 50 years old.
It offers intense aromas of red and black fruits, sour cherries and blackcurrants, with spicy and vanilla touches. On the palate, the substance is opulent and powerful but perfectly balanced by a controlled acidity and a very fine tannic structure, and offers a persistent gourmet finish. It is the ideal accompaniment to game and red meats roasted or in sauce.
