Chateau Sainte Marguerite Cotes-de-Provence Cru Classe White 2020
With this Château 2020 cuvée, Château Sainte Marguerite offers us a beautiful white wine from Provence in organic farming in AOP Côtes-de-Provence, made mainly from the Rolle grape variety (Vermentino) complemented by Sémillon. It is a wine with a brilliant lemon colour with a nose of pure and refreshing aromatic intensity, with notes of white peach and citrus (grapefruit), floral and vegetal notes, with touches of anise, acacia and fresh fennel. On the palate, the substance is ample and supple, allowing the intense fruit to express itself with a lemony freshness, and a pleasant finish on citrus zest, anise and white pepper.
This white Côtes-de-Provence will be the ideal accompaniment to Mediterranean seafood dishes, such as a fillet of sea bass with fennel, shellfish, American-style monkfish or a platter of dry cheeses.
Located in the village of La Londe des Maures, Château Sainte Marguerite has always been a small wine-growing village on the Var coast that enjoys exceptional climatic conditions and a very rich soil. Château Sainte-Marguerite, a Cru Classé in the Côtes de Provence, is a family affair, as Brigitte and Jean-Pierre Fayard and their children have combined their skills and know-how since 1977.
All Château Sainte Marguerite wines are certified "Organic Wine" by ECOCERT and the estate is registered with the Vegan Society.
