Mas Cristine Cotes du Roussillon White 2014
Mas Cristine produces a beautiful white wine in the Côtes du Roussillon appellation, the result of a blend of Macabeu, Roussanne and Grenache Gris, complemented with a little Marsanne and Carignan Gris.
It offers both a beautiful freshness with mineral notes and a nice volume with fat in the mouth. It goes perfectly with seafood, tapas or cheeses such as tomme.
Created in 1810, Mas Cristine is a former estate located on the southern edge of the AOP Côtes du Roussillon which is ideally located overlooking the sea, in the middle of cork oaks. The soils are made up of a mixture of schist, quartz and red clay and are home to magnificent vines of Syrah, Grenache, Roussanne, Marsanne and Muscat.
