Paul Jaboulet Aîné Crozes-Hermitage Domaine de Roure Blanc 2010

Paul Jaboulet Aine Crozes-Hermitage Domaine de Roure White 2010

31.50 € Tax included

This Domaine de Roure 2010 is a great white wine in the Crozes-Hermitage appellation, the largest vineyard in the northern Rhône Valley.

Domaine de Roure is made exclusively from the Marsanne grape variety. Its colour is a light golden, brilliant and limpid colour and it offers subtle aromas of white flowers mixed with slightly buttery notes on the nose. On the palate it is ample and powerful, with a long and harmonious finish.

The name Crozes-Hermitage is made up of the word Crozes which comes from the Latin crucem which means "cross" or "crossroads" and Hermitage. Hermitage is a tribute to the hill overlooking the Rhône where the Knight of Strimberg, returning from his crusade against the Albigensians, came to pray as a hermit.
