This Gevrey-Chambertin 2015 is a red wine from Burgundy in the Gevrey-Chambertin appellation of Domaine Chanson, from a plot selected in the northern part of the appellation and which is located on a hillside, on the edge of the Premiers Crus.

On the nose, it reveals aromas of ripe red and black berries with spicy and slightly vanilla notes. On the palate it is very well balanced, dense, with a nice depth and expression of fruit and well-blended tannins. The finish is persistent and of great intensity. It will go perfectly with game (pheasant), capon and mature cheeses such as an Epoisses or a Langres. It can be kept in the cellar until 2030-2032.

The 2015 vintage is a great Burgundian vintage with ideal climatic conditions, in particular a very sunny and hot summer with cool nights, which allowed the grapes to reach an optimal level of ripeness. The harvest was also carried out under the sun at the beginning of September.
