This cuvée "Tilligton Single Vineyard 2013" is a sparkling brut wine made according to the traditional method by Nyetimber in West Sussex, in the south of England. It comes from a blend of 78% Pinot Noir from one of the most beautiful plots of the estate and 22% Chardonnay, and benefits from a cellar aging of more than 3 years, on the model of the best champagnes in France.

In 2013, very favourable weather conditions, apart from the rather cool month of August, and a warm month of September allowed a good maturation of the three grape varieties and the harvest offered ripe fruit with perfectly controlled acidity.

This cuvée offers a beautiful golden colour, very fine bubbles, and a nose with aromas of wild raspberries with delicate floral notes, pastry and pralines. On the palate, the expression is ample and generous, very elegant, with notes of apple and apricot and fine lemony touches. The finish is long and opulent with fruit and dried fruit (almond). It is one of Nyetimber's rarest vintages, to be reserved for a special occasion, and which will be the perfect accompaniment to monkfish tail with Kari-Gosse, turbot with cream, lobster thermidor or beautiful poultry in sauce.

Find the wines of Nyetimber currently on sale at La Bouteille Dorée. Created in 1988, the Nyetimber vineyard is composed of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier and is planted on a terroir that has nothing to envy to that of the best sparkling wine estates in Europe and in the world: limestone and green sandstone soils, maritime and temperate climate, exposure of the vines to the south.
