Château La Lagune is classified as a third grand cru in the official classification of Bordeaux wines from 1855. Located on the land of Ludon, in the heart of the Haut-Médoc, it is one of the five châteaux of the Médoc to be a Grand Cru Classé and not to be part of the Saint-Estèphe, Saint-Julien, Pauillac or Margaux appellations.
