Château Cantemerle 2016 is a great red wine from Bordeaux and 5th Grand Cru Classé in the Haut-Médoc appellation, offered here in large format: a very beautiful 9-liter bottle, a Salmanazar, to offer as a gift or to share on a beautiful festive table.

It offers a complex aromatic palette, on black fruits (blackcurrant, blackberry), tobacco, cloves with subtle woody notes. On the palate, it is both powerful and elegant, with very supple tannins and a charming finish. You can start tasting it but ideally, you will wait until 2022-2023, and in the great 2016 vintage, the ageing potential is impressive.

Château Cantemerle has been reborn since the early 1990s and has now become one of the most beautiful references in the Haut-Médoc. Find the wines of Château Cantemerle currently on sale at La Bouteille Dorée.

You can also find other large bottles in our catalogue of 9-litre bottles and all the large bottles: Jeroboam and Double-Magnum of 3 liters, Methuselah and Imperial of 6 liters, Salmanazar of 9 liters, Balthazar of 12 liters, Nebuchadnezzar of 15 liters and Melchior of 18 liters.
