Paul Jaboulet Aîné Hermitage La Chapelle Rouge 1988

Paul Jaboulet Aine Hermitage La Chapelle Red 1989 - Wooden box 1 bottle

483.00 € Tax included

This 1989 Hermitage La Chapelle from Domaine Paul Jaboulet Aîné reveals a bouquet of damp earth, cherry, spices, liquorice, raspberry jam and herbes de Provence. On the palate it is supple, fleshy, mineral, with a finish of candied cherries and iron. A great Rhône wine ready to be tasted.

With its phenomenal longevity, Paul Jaboulet Aîné's Hermitage la Chapelle is unabashedly equal to the best red wines of Bordeaux or Burgundy. The name of the Hermitage La Chapelle is linked to the small chapel of Saint-Christophe overlooking the terraced vineyard overlooking the Rhône. Maison Paul Jaboulet Aîné has been the sole owner of "La Chapelle" since 1919. The diversity of the terroirs and the places called "confié" gives the wine a special identity thanks to the blending of the different plots.
