The Chevalier de Sterimberg 2021 is a great white wine from the Rhône Valley in AOP Hermitage blanc produced by Paul Jaboulet Aîné in certified organic farming.

It offers a beautiful pale yellow colour with bright reflections and very dense tears. On the nose, it is rich and complex, with subtle aromas of ripe pears, notes of pastries, honey and caramel, and delicately woody. On the palate, it is ample and warm, combining power, finesse and elegance.

The small chapel of Saint-Christophe is located at the top of the hill. It was built in 1235 by the Knight Gaspard of Sterimberg after the latter, wounded during the Albigensian Crusade in 1224, had asked the White Queen of Castile for permission to establish his Hermitage on this hill.

Paul Jaboulet Aïné has been the sole owner of La Chapelle since 1919. The diversity of the terroirs and localities gives the wine a special identity thanks to the blending of the different plots. Find the wines of Paul Jaboulet Aîné currently on sale at La Bouteille Dorée.
