Red and White Wine Gift Set Rock 3 bottles

A "naked" Chardonnay, a pure expression of fruit and terroir, to celebrate the famous Woodstock Festival. It was in 2009, for the 40th anniversary of the famous Woodstock Festival, that Mark Beaman, the winemaker of Wines that Rock, decided to revisit the legend, inspired by the message of Woodstock's music, which celebrates both community and individual expression and breaking with the past.

He then created a "naked" Chardonnay. Unlike other regions that produce less aromatic Chardonnays and whose character is enhanced by malolactic fermentation and ageing in oak barrels, this Woodstock Chardonnay is a pure expression of the fruit and the terroir. It opens with rich aromas of pear and papaya with a nice mineral note, followed on the palate by fresh flavors of Asian apple, citrus and tropical fruits with a nice acidity on the finish, "sunshine on the palate" as Mark likes to say. To be enjoyed with salmon or chicken dishes, cream soups and pasta in sauce.

Find all the wines of Wines that Rock currently on sale, evoking The Pink Floyd, the Rolling Stones, the Police, The Grateful Dead or the Woodstock festival and the selection of American and Californian wines currently available at La Bouteille Dorée.

A beautiful red wine, made from the Merlot grape variety, made by Pablo Parra-Jimenez, renowned Spanish winemaker, in organic and biodynamic farming, with a very low amount of sulphites and which is also a 100% vegetable wine that will suit vegan lovers.

What better way to embody "Forty Licks", the Rolling Stones' compilation album released in 2002?

Pablo Parra-Jimenez offers here a beautiful Merlot wine, with an intense colour, a nose marked by aromas of red fruits with light menthol and spicy notes. This is followed on the palate by rich flavours of red and black fruits with controlled acidity, resulting in a greedy, round and silky wine.
