This Meursault 1er Cru Les Perrières 2017 from Domaine de Montille comes from a small plot of 0.45 hectares in the upper part of the cru. The cru "Les Perrières" is one of the most sought-after in the Meursault appellation, along with "Les Charmes" and "Les Genevrières". The term Perrière evokes stone quarries.
This great white wine of Burgundy offers very pure aromas of chalk and fresh almond with floral notes (white flowers, hawthorn). On the palate, we find the straight and mineral, incisive and sharp character of the wines of the Perrière climate, which brings it closer to the great wines of Puligny. The tension and persistence are exceptional with toasted notes on the finish. It will ideally accompany noble poultry with cream and can be kept in the cellar until 2035-2038..
