This Meursault Charmes 1er Cru 2022 is produced by Maison Louis Jadot from a vineyard on a mid-slope facing east, on a magnesian limestone soil. The grapes are harvested by hand in small crates and thewines are aged in barrels on fine lees for 15 months.
This beautiful Meursault offers a beautiful golden colour and a concentrated and very elegant nose, with aromas of almond and hazelnut, pastry, fine spices and toasted dried fruit. On the palate, the substance is round and silky, very harmonious, with a very persistent finish on marzipan, gingerbread and brioche. It can be enjoyed today and kept in the cellar until about 2045.
