This Meursault Santenots 1er Cru offers a fruity nose with notes of hazelnut and a very mineral character on this exceptional terroir, with a beautiful tension and a long and ample finish. It can be enjoyed until about 2033-2035.
This “climat” of Meursault has the particularity of bearing, depending on the grape variety, the name of Volnay when it is planted with Pinot Noir and that of Meursault with Chardonnay. The plot is located north of the village of Meursault, between Meursault and Volnay, and the soil, very marly, lends itself very well to both grape varieties. Domaine Marquis d'Angerville owns a beautiful plot of 1.05 hectares planted with Chardonnay since 1905.
