This cuvée "La Rouge" 2014 is a red wine from Savoie in AOP Arbin Mondeuse from Domaine Louis Magnin, made from the blend of 70-year-old vines, planted on red clay, ancient soil of Savoy before the last ice age.
The Mondeuse d'Arbin "La Rouge" 2014 gives a very beautiful wine that gains in personality and suppleness after a few years of ageing and up to 10 to 12 years, developing characteristic aromas of violets, rosemary and red fruits (raspberry), and a seductive finish with notes of truffles.
The Mondeuse grape variety produces a generous, tannic red wine on beautiful terroirs. It is the most specific of the red grape varieties of Savoie, and probably the oldest.
