This Morey-Saint-Denis 1er Cru Les Millandes 2020 from Domaine Arlaud is a great red wine from Burgundy, from the Côte de Nuits. The name of this climate used to refer to the place where millet, milium in Latin, was grown, which became "Millandes".
This beautiful Morey offers an elegant nose, a tender and round texture, a supple and lively substance, with a deep and persistent finish. A wine that you can start tasting but that will offer much more pleasure in a few years and that can be kept in the cellar until about 2040-2045.
Domaine Arlaud has adopted sustainable agriculture since 1998, without herbicides, insecticides or acaricides. The grapes are harvested by hand. Since 2004, the estate has adopted the principles of organic farming and in 2009 started biodynamic cultivation. In 2014, it became the first estate in Morey Saint Denis to be certified Biodynamic by Biodyvin.
