Château Chasse-Spleen Moulis-en-Médoc Cru Bourgeois Red 2009

Chateau Chasse-Spleen Moulis-en-Medoc Cru Bourgeois Red 2009

84.00 € Tax included

Château Chasse-Spleen 2009 is a great Bordeaux wine in the Moulis-en-Médoc appellation, in a very great Médoc vintage marked in August and September, by a wide range of temperatures between day and night, which allowed a perfect ripening of the grapes.

It offers a slightly evolved dark red colour, limpid and brilliant, and a nose of black fruits (blackcurrant), cocoa notes and pencil lead. The attack on the palate is very energetic, ample, with a fine substance and a very nice finish.

An exceptional wine that can compete in its best years with the best classified growths of the Médoc, such as this 2010 vintage, it is hardly surprising to see that Charles Baudelaire and Lord Byron were prestigious ambassadors of Château Chasse-Spleen.
