This red wine from the Cantine Chiorri estate is an Italian wine from the Umbria region, made from 100% of the Sangiovese grape variety. Sangiovese, also known as Brunello, is the most important grape variety in Italy with 100,000 hectares of vines and it is emblematic of Chianti wines that must contain at least 80% of it in their blend. It is also present in great Italian wines such as Brunello di Montalcino, Vino Nobile or Morellino di Scansano.

On the nose, it offers aromas of red fruits and plums, and floral, violet and rose aromas. It is well balanced on the palate, with supple tannins and a nice freshness. It will be the perfect accompaniment to tomato-based dishes, pasta bolognese or cheeses such as pecorino.
