Archery Summit is one of the best wineries in Oregon in the United States with 6 vineyards allowing the production of Pinot Noir wines with different expressions depending on the terroir. Oregon is the land of choice for great Pinot Noir wines in the USA and the Willamette Valley is one of, if not the most famous of the wine regions in this part of the northwestern United States. Archery Summit promotes organic and biodynamic viticulture.
Premier Cuvée 2018 is a great Pinot Noir wine made from a blend of grapes from the estate's 6 vineyards and has been aged for 10 months in French oak barrels, a third of which are in new barrels. It offers strong floral notes, violet and hyacinth, and spicy notes. On the palate, the wine is very expressive with aromas of passion fruit, violets and cinnamon, velvety tannins and a long mineral finish. It can now be enjoyed and can be stored until 2030 for optimal tasting.
