Château Carbonnieux 2019 is a great red wine from Bordeaux in the Pessac-Léognan appellation and Grand Cru Classé de Graves, in both white and red.

The 2019 vintage was remarkable, after two more delicate vintages, from the vine's vegetative cycle, through flowering and a sunny, dry summer with just the right amount of life-saving rains.

Château Carbonnieux 2019 offers a deep dark ruby colour. On the nose, aromas of black fruit dominate, ripe and voluptuous, with notes of cedar, tobacco and violet. The attack on the palate is soft, full of finesse, and gives way to a very elegant substance, expressing itself on fruits and spices. This is a wine that will have to be kept for a long time, to be waited a little before tasting and that will certainly be kept in the cellar at least until 2040.

The red vineyard of Carbonnieux is planted on a beautiful gravel hilltop that is naturally drained. Within the Pessac-Léognan appellation, this prestigious terroir is remarkable for its morphology and the diversity of its soils.
