Chateau Certan-Giraud Pomerol 1978

149.00 € Tax included

This 1978 Château Certan-Giraud is a great Pomerol wine that is aimed at lovers of old Bordeaux wines and old vintages. The great wines of Pomerol are renowned for their long ageing and the very good 1978 vintage also benefited from exceptional weather conditions from the beginning of August, with a splendid end of summer and late harvests, offering grapes at perfect ripeness.

Château Certan-Giraud was one of the oldest crus in Pomerol, dating back to the 16th century, and its vile vines were split into 2 plots in 1999, one going to Château Nenin and the other acquired by Jean-Pierre Moueix who renamed the estate Château Hosanna.
