This magnificent white wine comes from the Pouilly vineyard located 200 km from Paris on the right bank of the Loire. Indigène is an exceptional cuvée from Pouilly-Fumé that offers an intense colour and a fine nose with aromas of yellow and white fruits as well as citrus. The palate gives off notes of honey and flowers and finishes with a fresh and noble finish. The result is a mineral, complex, fine, elegant wine that reflects the terroir from which it comes.

The 2012 vintage is the best vintage since 2002, offering perfectly integrated acidity with a nice freshness. The wine is rich and intense with good ageing potential. The name "Indigenous" refers to the yeasts that allow this wine to ferment naturally.

Created in the eighties, Maison Pascal Jolivet has become one of the most dynamic estates in the Loire Valley, specialising in Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé wines. Today, with more than 50 hectares of vines in the Pouilly Fumé and Sancerre appellations and 15 hectares in Touraine, to which is added 50% of the purchase of the harvest, Pascal Jolivet produces superb wines typical of his region, the Loire.
