27.50 € Tax included

The 2013 Closerie de Fourtet is a Saint-Emilion Grand Cru AOP wine is the second wine of Clos Fourtet, 1er Grand Cru classé "B" of Saint-Emilion.

In this vintage, which experienced difficult climatic conditions, yields were low to achieve a uniform ripening of the grapes but the efforts of the great châteaux such as Clos Fourtet paid off:the 2013 vintage offers here a wine with well-marked aromas of red and black fruits (cherry, blackberry), round and elegant on the palate, and ready to be enjoyed.

Located on the top of the Saint-Emilion plateau, Clos Fourtet has belonged to Philippe Cuvelier since 2001 and is managed by his son Matthieu, assistedby Jean-Claude Berrouet and Stéphane Derenoncourt for the winemaking.

Find the wines of Clos Fourtet currently on sale at La Bouteille Dorée as well as a fine selection of Saint-Emilion wines and in particular several old vintages of this great appellation on the right bank of the Bordeaux vineyards.
