Château Fombrauge Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classé 2000

Chateau Fombrauge Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classe 2000

63.00 € Tax included

Château Fombrauge 2000 is a Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classé wine made from a rigorous plot selection, by terroir and grape variety (95% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc), according to the age of the vines. The Château's first vines were planted more than 400 years ago.

In the beautiful 2000 vintage, it offers a ruby colour, brilliant and limpid. The nose is powerful, marked by aromas of stewed black fruits, plum, and notes of leather, undergrowth and cigar. The palate is supple and fleshy, well balanced, with an elegant and fresh finish.

You can find all the wines of Château Fombrauge and Saint-Emilion on sale at the moment and in particular several old vintages of this great appellation on the right bank of the Bordeaux vineyards.
