Château Montrose 2015 is a great red wine from Bordeaux and 2nd Grand Cru Classé in the Saint-Estèphe appellation.

In this great Médoc vintage, it offers a deep colour and an expressive and delicate nose with aromas of ripe black fruit and smoky and toasted notes. On the palate the attack is frank and elegant and gives way to a substance with silky tannins, perfectly balanced with a lot of finesse. The finish is very long and reveals notes of wood and liquorice. Typical of the appellation, it is a structured and tannic wine, but endowed with a rare finesse and elegance and an exceptional ageing potential. It can be kept in the cellar until 2050-2055, or even longer.
