Alleno & Chapoutier Saint-Joseph Couronne de Chabot Red 2011 - Box of 6
This superb Saint-Joseph Couronne de Chabot 2011 from Domaine Michel Chapoutier is a red wine made from 100% Syrah, the fruit ofthe collaboration of two passionate creators, masters in the demand for refinement: Yannick Alléno, Michelin-starred chef, and Michel Chapoutier, winemaker.
It offers a deep garnet red colour with purple reflections and a rich nose with aromas of very ripe black fruits (blackcurrant, blackberry) and cocoa, graphite and smoky notes. On the palate, the attack is frank, balanced, powerful and rich, the tannins are dense and tight, and the finish firm and persistent.
It is a perfectly ripe wine that will go perfectly with braised and grilled red meats, and that can be kept in the cellar until around 2025.
