Marie-Therese Chappaz Grain Cinq Assemblage Valais Switzerland White 2021
This Grain Cinq 2021 cuvée is a great white wine from Valais in Switzerland produced by Domaine Marie-Thérèse Chappaz located in Fully, made from a blend of five grape varieties, Ermitage (Marsanne), Païen (Savagnin), Petite Arvine, Pinot Blanc and Sylvaner, from the same hillside of the vineyard, Les Claives, harvested and vinified together.
It offers a beautiful harmonious nose of white flowers, peach, with notes of orange zest and fresh hazelnuts. On the palate, the superb substance is ample and fleshy, chiselled and taut, with a long silky finish that expresses itself on iodine touches. It is a white wine that can be kept until around 2030. It will go very well with noble fish, a seafood gratin or poultry with cream.
