Almaviva Puente Alto Valle de Maipo Chile Red 2017 Magnum - Wooden box 1 Magnum
Almaviva is an exceptional Chilean red wine made from a high-altitude vineyard in Puente Alto in the Valle de Maipo and a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon for two-thirds, Carménère (24%), Cabernet Franc (8%) and Petit Verdot (2%). The poor soils of the Puente Alto terroir offer the vines perfect drainage and are perfectly suited to Cabernet Sauvignon and Carménère, the emblematic grape variety of Chilean red wines. It is offered here in Magnum.
This great wine offers a brilliant colour of an intense ruby red and on the nose, delicate aromas of red and black fruits (raspberries, blackberries) supported by subtle notes of mocha. On the palate, the substance is superbly elegant, voluptuous, perfectly balanced between roundness and freshness, with supple and enveloping tannins and a finish with vanilla and peppery notes.
