Ardbeg An Oa Islay Scotch Whisky Single Malt - With gift box

This single malt whisky is produced by the Ardbeg distillery in the Mull of Oa, the most preserved part of the island of Islay. It is made from three different maturations, in Pedro Ximenez barrels, charred oak barrels and old bourbon barrels, which give it its sweetness, spicy character and intensity.

With a beautiful pale gold colour, it offers a round and subtly smoky nose, with creamy notes of caramel, anise and dates, and notes revealed by the addition of a drizzle of water, lime, pine resin and fennel. On the palate, the texture is smooth and silky with aromas of milk chocolate, caramel, anise, orange, smoked tea leaves and sweet spices (nutmeg and cinnamon). The finish, very persistent, is sweet and intense with notes of anise and smoky notes.
