Distillerie Twelve Whisky d'Aubrac Pur Malt Basalte France - With gift box

Basalt is a pure French unpeated malt whisky, produced in Aubrac by the Twelve distillery, made from the blend of five types of barrels, port, Bordeaux red wine, calvados, rum and new barrels.

It offers a very nice rich nose with notes of nuts, dried fruits, mocha and spices and very discreet vanilla and honeyed touches. On the palate, it expresses the same gourmet aromas with a beautiful roundness and a long creamy finish.

This single malt whisky has been blended after 36 months of ageing in order to obtain a perfect harmonization of aromas as well as a perfect integration of alcohol. It was bottled in March 2021 by gravity, without filtration and without coloration, at 48%, after a slow reduction of several months.
