It was while listening to Pink Floyd's "The Dark Side of the Moon" on repeat on his iPod that Mark Beaman, the winemaker of Wines that Rock, decided to venture into unknown territory.

To capture the unsettling intensity of "The Dark Side of the Moon," he turns to a classic grape, Cabernet Sauvignon, and makes a wine whose deep, complex character requires a calm and relaxing atmosphere to be fully appreciated. Cabernet Sauvignon reflects the mesmerizing and timeless character of this album, a Pink Floyd masterpiece, with aromas of blackcurrant and cherry followed by rich flavors of blackcurrant and toasted vanilla bean and hints of chocolate. It is the perfect accompaniment to cooked meats and pasta in sauce.
