This Armenian wine is a red wine made from 100% of the Areni grape variety and produced by the Voskevaz estate, in the Vayots Dzor region, at an altitude of 1600 meters above sea level.

This 2013 vintage offers a beautiful ruby colour. It perfectly expresses the Areni grape variety with aromas of red fruits (cherry, plum) and black fruits (blackberry), dried fruits and spicy notes of black pepper. On the palate, it is a complex and perfectly balanced wine with refreshing acidity and well-integrated supple tannins. It will be a perfect accompaniment to lamb meat, grilled lamb for example, and it is advisable to open it 1 hour before eating it.
