Here is a great Armenian wine made from 100% of the Areni grape variety and produced by the Voskevaz estate, in the region of Vayots Dzor at an altitude of 1600 meters above sea level. This wine undergoes a long maceration of 2 to 3 weeks in traditional 1000 liter clay jars called Karasi, before aging for 14 months in oak barrels from Armenia.

This 2015 vintage offers a very beautiful ruby colour and presents marked notes of red fruits, cherry, forest fruits, cranberries as well as subtle notes of black pepper, cloves, nutmeg and eucalyptus on the nose. On the palate, it is a complex and very well-balanced wine with a marked acidity, a sign of exceptional longevity. The tannins are very silky and the finish very long.

It will be a perfect accompaniment to delicate meats, poultry and cheeses and it is advisable to open it 1 hour before tasting. this wine was awarded "Silver" by Decanter in 2017.
