Domaine Chanson Beaune Clos du Roi 1er Cru Red 2015

Domaine Chanson Beaune Clos du Roi 1er Cru Red 2015

55.50 € Tax included

This Beaune Clos du Roi 1er Cru Red 2015 comes from the vines of Domaine Chanson, on the climate of the "Clos du Roi", located just below the plot "Les Marconnets", former property of the Dukes of Burgundy which was annexed by King Louis XI on the death of Charles the Bold.

This is a great red wine with intense aromas of ripe red berries, with notes of spices, liquorice and violets. On the palate, the balance is perfect with a dense texture, very elegant tannins and a very persistent spicy finish.

The 2015 vintage benefited from ideal climatic conditions with a mild spring, a hot and sunny summer and continuous sunshine during the harvest period in mid-September.

It will be possible to start tasting it now, but its great ageing potential allows it to be kept until 2028-2030.

Find the wines of the Domaine Chanson is currently on sale at La Bouteille Dorée. Maison Chanson was founded in Beaune in 1750 and has been owned by the Bollinger family since 1999.
