Frederic Magnien Chambolle Musigny Les Charmes 1er Cru Red 2009
This Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Charmes 2009 from Frédéric Magnien is a superb wine that brings together all the charm of this great terroir. A nose of rare finesse, with touches of precious woods, cranberries and crisp fruit. The velvetiness and delicacy of the palate are just as elegant.
2009 was an exceptional vintage in Burgundy thanks to very good climatological conditions which allowed us to harvest healthy grapes at perfect ripeness.
A brilliant winemaker and excellent breeder, Frédéric Magnien is currently at the head of Domaine Michel Magnien certified in Organic Agriculture and Biodynamics, which he took over from his father, and is also developing a trading house under his own name with supplies of grapes of excellent quality.
