Champagne Brimoncourt Brut Régence

Champagne Brimoncourt Brut Regence

41.00 € Tax included

This Régence cuvée from Maison Brimoncourt is made from 80% Chardonnay. It is a superb Champagne with a creamy foam and a straw yellow colour of a dazzling brilliance. The nose is subtle and very elegant with aromas of white flowers, citrus fruits and charming fruity notes. On the palate, the minerality is well present with roundness and freshness at the same time and a nice length.

The history of Brimoncourt began in 2007 with the purchase by Alexandre Cornot of the Plantet printing house in Aÿ, followed in 2008 by the purchase of Brimoncourt with a terroir classified as 100% grand cru. This was followed by five years of hard work to make the wine and launch the first cuvée in 2013. Brimoncourt is a 100% independent Champagne House with secure and selective supplies and a large proportion of crus from the south of the Côte des Blancs: Avize, Vertus, Cézanne.

This Régence cuvée refers to the period from 1715 to 1723, when Philippe d'Orléans became regent on the death of Louis XIV. After a heavy reign, this period reveals a spirit of celebration and lightness, dear to Brimoncourt. Built in 1875, the Hôtel particulier Brimoncourt is still the headquarters of the House in Reims.
