The Nicolas François cuvée from the Billecart-Salmon Champagne House is offered here in the 2002 vintage. It is made from a blend of 60% Pinot Noir from Premiers and Grands Crus from the Montagne de Reims and the Grande Vallée de la Marne and 40% Chardonnay from the Côte des Blancs, with a ten-year cellar maturation.

This Champagne offers a beautiful luminous yellow colour with golden reflections. On the nose, we find pure aromas of white peach, nectarine and mirabelle plum, enhanced by fine malty notes and mandarin zest. On the palate, the balance prevails with a nice tension, on the aromas of stone fruit and citrus. It will be the perfect accompaniment to roasted Bresse poultry or a milk-fed veal chop.
