This Cornas Le Village 2015 by Yves Cuilleron is a blend of three plots located in the village of Cornas, in the localities called "Les Côtes", "Reynard" and "Cayret", on terraced granite soils, 100% Syrah.
It offers a very nice nose of ripe black fruits, spices and undergrowth and on the palate, a perfect balance with a round and greedy substance, and a long finish with ripe and spicy tannins.
The wines of Cornas require a few years of ageing to express themselves and this 2015, just ripe, can be tasted today or kept for a few more years, until about 2028-2030. It is the ideal accompaniment to veal, beef, duck, or veal osso bucco, for example.
