This Côte-Rôtie cuvée Réserve 2012 is a blend of 15 plots located in brown and blond Côte designed by Stéphane Ogier, one of the very best winemakers of this magnificent appellation. Long ageing, vines partly ploughed with horses and vinification by plots. Established in Ampuis for many generations, the Ogier family has always worked in the Côte-Rôtie vineyards.

When he took over from his father Michel in 1998, Stéphane Ogier set out to highlight his different terroirs in order to reveal the unique character of these places full of history. Côte-Blonde, But de Mont, Lance, Côte-Rôzier, Champon, Besset, Domaine Michel et Stéphane Ogier extends over 11 hectares, including 3.5 hectares on a mosaic of beautiful plots located in the heart of the Côte-Rôtie, whose soil diversity and the northernmost climate of the Rhône Valley give the wines an incredible finesse.
