This Gaillac 2019 from Domaine Plageoles is an organic red wine, in the Gaillac appellation, made only from the Duras grape variety.
It offers a bright light ruby colour and a fresh nose of ripe red fruits (plum, cherry) with peppery notes. On the palate, the body is ample and smooth, on black fruits (prunes, blackberries), well structured with elegance and freshness, and a long finish.
It will go perfectly with venison terrine, meats in sauce, chicken tagine, porcini mushroom crispor or cheeses like a Tomme des Pyrénées. It can be kept in the cellar until about 2030.
