Domaine Plageoles is a wine estate located in the southwest of France, in the Gaillac region. It covers 25 hectares and is now composed of two estates, the Domaine des Très Cantous in Cahuzac sur Vère and the Domaine de Roucou-Cantemerle in Castelnau de Montmiral.
Little affected by phylloxera, thanks to its deep clay-limestone soils which have allowed the vines to resist the disease, the vineyard highlights many native grape varieties, some rare and forgotten, of the region, such as Ondenc, Loin-de-l'œil, Mauzac roux, Mauzac rose, Verdanel, Braucol, Prunelart, or Duras.
A family estate that has been in operation since 1805, it is now run by Florent and Romain, the seventh generation of the family, who took it over from their parents Myriam and Bernard.
