This Enotria cuvée is a Greek red wine from Crete and made from 60% Syrah supplemented by 20% Kotsifali and 20% Liatiko, two indigenous Cretan grape varieties, produced by the Douloufakis Estate in organic farming.

It brings a youthful ruby colour and a rich aromatic profile with notes of red fruits and pepper. On the palate, the wine is fresh and fruity, with high acidity and medium tannins : an interesting and easy to drink wine, with great balance and pleasant aftertaste.

It is the perfect accompaniment to pasta with minced meat, rabbit, wild goat or guinea hen. It pairs well with some traditional Greek dishes, like “moussaka” (vegetables and minced meet with béchamel sauce), “soutzoukakia Smyrneika” (meatballs in red sauce), lentils with Cretan “apaki” (smoked pork), rabbit or hare stew and eggplants “imam baildi” or “antikristo arni” (lamb cooked in bonfire)..
