Château La Lagune is a great red wine from Bordeaux in the Haut-Médoc appellation and 3rd Grand Cru Classé in the 1855 Médoc wine classification. It offers a beautiful purple colour and on the nose, very elegant aromas on flowers and fruits, with discreet vanilla notes. The palate is smooth with fine tannins and a nice length on the finish.

This great red wine from the Médoc can be enjoyed now, but it is preferable to wait a few more years. It will be the perfect accompaniment to a lamb navarin or a braised duck with peas. It can be kept in the cellar until about 2036-2038.

Located on the land of Ludon, in the heart of the Haut-Médoc, Château La Lagune has the distinction of being one of the five Médoc châteaux of the official classification of Bordeaux wines from 1855 not to be part of the Saint-Estèphe, Saint-Julien, Pauillac or Margaux appellations.
