Pablo Parra-Jimenez offers here a beautiful Merlot wine, with an intense colour, a nose marked by aromas of red fruits with light menthol and spicy notes. This is followed on the palate by rich flavours of red and black fruits with controlled acidity, resulting in a greedy, round and silky wine.

A blend of Syrah, Petite Sirah, Zinfandel and Grenache that offers a unique bouquet of black cherries and peppery bacon with a velvety finish and notes of vanilla and caramel.

Mark Beaman, the winemaker at Wines that Rock, chose an explosive blend of Mendocino County varietals to capture the energy displayed by the Grateful Dead on their album "Steal Your Face" recorded during the band's concerts at the Winterland Ballroom in San Francisco in October 1974.  Syrah, Petite Sirah, Zinfandel and Grenache blend perfectly to give a great red wine with powerful flavors, just as the band members could string together different musical styles.
