Greywacke Sauvignon Marlborough New Zealand White 2021
This 2021 Sauvignon Blanc comes from the Greywacke vineyards of Marlborough, the central plains of Wairau (Woodbourne, Renwick, Rapaura) with alluvial soils covered with the region's emblematic grey stones (greywacke) as well as the Southern Valley with its more clayey soils.
It offers intense aromas of ripe white fruits, peach and pear, with floral and slightly lemony notes on the nose. On the palate, the crisp fruit envelops the palate with very elegant vegetal touches and a very mineral substance. A wine to be enjoyed with seafood or an arugula salad with goat cheese, apples and nuts.
