Château Les Carmes Haut-Brion 2011 is a great red wine from Bordeaux in the Pessac-Léognan appellation and classified as a Grand Cru de Graves.

It offers a very nice nose of red and black berries (blackberry, blackcurrant and black cherry) and subtle notes of sweet spices and graphite. On the palate, the attack is powerful, the substance dense and rich with a taut, fine and delicate structure, the tannins are present and silky, and the long finish is very fresh. A wine that can be kept until around 2030-2032, to be enjoyed with pan-fried foie gras, roasted red meat or Rossini beef tournedos.
