The Dame de Montrose is the second wine of Château Montrose, 2nd Grand Cru Classé of Saint-Estèphe, and offered here in a very beautiful 15-litre bottle, a Nebuchadnezzar packaged in its original wooden case. A beautiful, balanced Bordeaux red wine wine with strong fruit and fine, elegant tannins.

The available vintages are displayed below: click on the desired vintage to display its price.

La Dame de Montrose was created in 1986 as a tribute to Yvonne Charmolue who managed Château Montrose alone from 1944 to 1960. This wine represents about 30% of the total production of the Château Montrose vineyard. Made from the same vineyard as the great wine of Château Montrose, it comes from a second selection where the Merlot grape variety dominates, with a shorter ageing.

Find the wines of Château Montrose currently on sale at La Bouteille Dorée and if you are looking for a large bottle, you can also find other large bottles in our catalogue of 15-litre bottles and our catalogue of large-capacity bottles , from 3-litre Jeroboam to 18-litre Melchior, or even more.
